TangDose Privacy Policy
Private medication and care records, stored locally.
TangDose helps you organize medications, records, reviews, care plans, reminders, documents, and reports on your device. The app is designed as an offline, local-first app with no account requirement, no cloud sync, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking.
1. Contact, Scope, And Data Controller
This Privacy Policy explains how TangDose handles information in the TangDose iOS app and on these support pages.

TangDose is a personal recording, reminder, and organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescription, dose recommendation, dose calculation, dose adjustment, medication safety verification, or medical advice.
Important: app data you create in TangDose is stored locally on your device by the app. The developer of TangDose does not operate accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, tracking, or developer-operated servers for this app data in the current version.
2. Information Stored On Your Device
TangDose stores the information you choose to enter or create in the app. This may include:
- Medication names, dosage text, categories, stock, expiration dates, notes, and medication images.
- Medication records, planned, due, completed, or missed status, record dates, dose details, care context, and record notes.
- Care plans, linked medications, contraindication notes, care documents, care notes, and review activity.
- Review records, review dates, review type, review status, outcome, provider or facility text, related documents, and review notes.
- Reminder schedules, notification preferences, profile information, avatar, language settings, and optional local lock settings.
- Local backup files and PDF reports if you choose to create or export them.
Some of this information may be health-related or sensitive. You control what you enter, attach, export, share, or delete.
TangDose does not require account registration and does not ask for a birth date, government ID, payment card, precise location, contacts, advertising identifier, or social profile.
3. Purpose And Legal Basis
Your data is used to provide app features you request, including medication lists, local reminders, records, care plans, reviews, statistics, local backups, PDF exports, profile preferences, and app settings.
For users in regions with privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR, the primary legal basis is that local processing is necessary to provide the app features you choose to use. Where a feature depends on an iOS permission, such as Notifications, Camera, Photo Library, or Face ID, that feature is used only after you allow or enable it.
TangDose does not use your data for advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, automated decision-making, profiling, or selling personal information.
5. Permissions
- Notifications: used to send local medication or review reminders you create or enable.
- Photo Library: used when you choose an avatar or medication image.
- Camera: used when you choose to take an avatar or medication photo.
- Face ID or Touch ID: used only if you enable local app lock features. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS; TangDose does not receive or store your biometric data.
You can manage permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
6. Retention, Deletion, And Your Privacy Choices
Your data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear all local data, uninstall the app, or restore from a backup.
You can clear all local TangDose data from Settings. This permanently deletes local medication data, records, care plans, reviews, reminders, profile details, avatar data, images, documents, and local lock settings stored by TangDose on the device.
If you exported files or backups outside the app, you must delete those files separately from the place where you saved or shared them.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about personal data processed by a business. Because TangDose stores app records locally and does not operate an account database for this data, most access, correction, export, and deletion controls are available directly on your device. For privacy questions, contact TangDose Support.
For California users, TangDose does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.
7. Security
TangDose uses iOS platform protections for local app storage and optional local app lock features when enabled. You should also protect your device with a strong passcode, keep iOS updated, and be careful when exporting or sharing files that may contain health or medication information.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If you believe your data or device has been compromised, review your device security settings and contact support if the issue relates to TangDose.
8. Children
TangDose is not directed to children and is not intended for unsupervised use by children. Medication and health information should be managed carefully with appropriate parent, guardian, caregiver, and qualified healthcare guidance.
TangDose does not knowingly collect children's personal information through an account, cloud, advertising, or analytics system.
9. Medical Disclaimer
TangDose is for personal recording, reminder, statistics, and organization purposes only. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, recommend doses, calculate medication dosage, adjust dosage, verify medication safety, or replace professional medical advice.
Dose statistics, dose summaries, medication usage summaries, and medication timelines are generated only from records and dose text that you enter or mark as completed. They are historical record summaries, not dosage calculators, dose recommendations, clinical decisions, or medication safety checks.
Always consult a licensed doctor, pharmacist, or qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions, changing medication, changing dosage, or stopping treatment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
10. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when changes are made. If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or third-party data sharing, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before release.

TangDose 不出售您的个人数据，也不会在应用内向第三方共享您的药品或健康数据。只有在您主动使用系统分享、备份、导出、恢复、邮件、信息、文件、iCloud、AirDrop 或其他您选择的目的地时，数据才会离开您的设备。
如果您在 TangDose 外部使用 iCloud、设备备份、邮件、云存储或其他第三方服务，相关服务可能会按照其自身条款和隐私政策处理您导出或备份的数据。TangDose 无法控制这些外部服务。
5. 权限
- 通知：用于发送您创建或启用的本地用药或复查提醒。
- 相册：用于您从相册选择头像或药品图片。
- 相机：用于您拍摄头像或药品照片。
- Face ID 或 Touch ID：仅在您启用本地应用锁定功能时使用。生物识别认证由 iOS 处理，TangDose 不接收或存储您的生物识别数据。
您可以随时在 iOS 设置中管理权限。
6. 保留、删除与隐私选择
您的数据会保留在设备本地，直到您编辑、删除、清除所有本地数据、卸载应用或从备份恢复。
您可以在设置中清除所有 TangDose 本地数据。该操作会永久删除 TangDose 存储在本设备上的药品数据、记录、照护计划、复查、提醒、个人资料、头像数据、图片、文件和本地锁定设置。
如果您已将文件或备份导出到应用外部，需要在保存或分享的位置单独删除这些文件。
根据您所在地区，您可能享有访问、更正、删除、携带、限制、反对或了解个人数据处理情况的权利。由于 TangDose 将应用记录存储在本地，且不为这些数据运营账户数据库，大多数访问、更正、导出和删除操作可以直接在您的设备上完成。如有隐私问题，请联系 TangDose 支持。
7. 安全与儿童
TangDose 使用 iOS 平台的本地应用存储保护能力，并在您启用时提供本地应用锁定功能。建议您使用强设备密码、保持 iOS 更新，并谨慎导出或分享可能包含健康或用药信息的文件。

8. 医疗免责声明
TangDose 仅用于个人记录、提醒、统计和信息整理。它不诊断疾病、不开具药物、不推荐剂量、不计算药物剂量、不调整剂量、不验证用药安全，也不能替代专业医疗建议。
剂量统计、剂量汇总、用药汇总和用药时间线仅根据您输入或标记为已完成的记录和剂量文本生成。它们是历史记录汇总，不是剂量计算器、剂量推荐、临床决策或用药安全检查。
